Very nice, clean spacious, room, comfortable beds. We stayed on the 2nd floor, showers had shampoo conditioner and body wash hooked to wall loved that and the small porch outside. Even though we didn't get to swim it's nice that they have a swimming area for in the summer outside they also have a small gym . It's was a nice and clean place to stay and quiet 😀 definitely will stay here again.

Not clean, friendly Caring staff was not a priority at all. Who has in there contract when you pickup your key card that rooms are cleaned every 3 to 4 days. That STATEMENT should be at the TOP of the ADVERTISEMENT. Had I known this, I would not have booked there.

Cute little town from hallmark movies, cozy little shops and beautiful parks. Located 25-40 min from ATL depending on traffic. 20 min from Stone Mountain. Safe, most importantly! I would say get the best of both city life and small town on your trip!

    Staff was pleasant, but overworked.

Staff was pleasant, but overworked. The Front desk had too many jobs to fill. We got the feeling that they were trying to save money. We had to ask for everything. More help was needed for the place to run efficiently and extra supplies should have been stocked. No hair blower, extra soap, etc. was needed. We stayed for two nights and were supplies for one night only.

I'mma just sum it up in a nutshell if you're black don't come to this hotel that's just point blank period cuz some employees will treat you just like that the only employee that was a sweetheart is one chicken I think her name is Alyssa she might be the only one that has respect and know how to talk to people and will help you but the other little old lady I don't even know her name she's rude she barely wants to communicate you ask her question she get real nasty they will will discriminate on you they will put things on you that you have nothing to do with just to kick you out your room if I had a new this coming here I would have never came to the horizon inn and suites I would have found someone else to go I'm spending money a lot of money on a room where I'm being discriminated against for no reason please be very careful when you come visit this hotel

There were some minor issues the first 2 days, but night desk clerk went out of his way to address the issues, both times correcting the issue in less than a minute. That young man hopefully goes up the ladder. He definitely deserves it.

Great room. We were super tired and just went directly sleeping, and we were able to get some good sleep. We also enjoyed breakfast. It had been a while since we had a hot and yummy breakfast at the hotel because of covid, so it was an awesome experience. Thank you for the service.

The hotel is located in a scatchy part of town. The room was large and bed was comfy. But it reaked of Pinesal and was sticky. Our eyes burned for 30 minutes when we got in the room. We went down a wrong hall and all you could smell was drugs being smoked.

I liked the availability of both a king sized & queen sized beds in one room. I wish more of your hotels had this set up. I frequently stay in Birmingham but the hotel in Homewood doesn't have this set up so I stay somewhere else.
