I was born and raised in Newark and returned for the first time since just prior to the COVID19 pandemic. I chose Chase Suites on a three day stopover enroute from Hawai’i to return home to LIVERPOOL UK. This selection was primarily due to its location on close proximity to the I-880 Freeway so that I could visit former high school classmates. I also wanted to visit longtime fave spots such as The Mexican Restaurant on Hesperian Boulevard in Hayward and Jade Palace on Newark Boulevard in Newark. Great trip!

I loved the breakfast,it was a pleasant environment and hot food that was enjoyable. Courteous staff that was friendly. Everything clean and busy staff cleaning. The front desk check in was very easy for the most part till my last extended booking I had one lady at front desk give me a difficult time with my stay over booking. But all in all my visit was enjoyable.

Newark was close to my work-office, while my home in San Jose was fumigated for termites. I normally just commute 'thru' Newark, but it is a good place to shop for groceries, fast food, entertainment, etc.

I like the very comfortable bed.
I like the very comfortable bed. The shower is very relaxing as well as the tub right beside it. The television offers Netflix and it's great if you have an account. Beside the fact that the pool is still closed because of this Covid-19, I very much enjoyed my stay here. I will continue to stay at this hotel because it is in the middle of my personal life. As a matter of fact, I'm in the middle of reserving a room for this weekend. I hope all you travelers and weekenders can share my relaxation weekend at this hotel. I can guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face.

If possible get a courtyard view room on the third floor.
If possible get a courtyard view room on the third floor. It is a beautiful view and super quiet. If your staying on the weekend take the time to listen to the live music in the lounge. The gym is also very well equipped. Also, In & Out is just a 7 minute drive from hotel!
Met by the friendly reception staff and manager, who congratulated us on our engagement. Our room was clean, and the bed was so comfy.
The kitchen had everything you'd expect, and the bathroom had shower gel, etc.
In a quiet area and over the road from some eateries and shops. At the back of the hotel was a cinema in the small mall.
Breakfast was good, hot food, fruit, cereal etc.
the breakfast was not good.the hotel itself was excellent, new and clean.but whoever is in charge of the breakfast needs to be changed. everyday the potatoes were under cooked, there was no cream for coffee,so many people and one 4 slice toaster always had a line up.it was so annoying we were a group of 20,absolutely frustrating.
Newark is a great central location for me and my staycations away from home. My room was huge and I got a great free upgrade via booking.com. IT'S HUGE HERE! I love the layout, and the fact that I have a fridge, microwave, couch, and soooo much space that I didn't even use this time around.
perfect location, near the mall, cinema, good restaurants, groceries, and walking distance to my work. The staff were nice and very helpful. The suite is cozy and clean. I liked that the hotel is very near the bus stops.
The hotel room was quite comfortable, sized just about to feel good there. Good bathroom, fridge, good working internet connection... everything I needed in a business trip. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
I've stayed at this hotel many times and I have to say that the staff have always been exceptional. Other than that the location is also good with many places to eat close by.
I liked that it was walking distance to a plaza with food and sprouts and across the street from Safeway. Made our stay a lot cheaper without having to eat out every night.
