Our trip was out of season but still a lovely place to visit, the pier is clean and rubbish free and lovely tea and cake to be had! The sea front is rubbish free and easy to access. This was a day visit when staying just outside Cromer but we will definitely stay here when we can

Plenty of different shops to visit but some of them shut on a Wednesday which is frustrating when you are only there on a short break. Good tourist information with plenty of leaflets for trips out nearby. We were too early in the season for some.

An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style.
An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style. Nowadays a dated holiday gem best appreciated by older people. Full of nostalgia for over 60s as it brings back memories of childhood holidays. Lovely pier, beach and Cliff path walks.
Excellent sea food . Easy railway access to Norwich city and good road access to fascinating historical places all round the county.

Cromer itself a lovely holiday place and keeps its individual style. Our holiday accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very disappointed with the view just bricks and other apartments
Avery steep hill to the car park.
Reception frosty more interested in you paying and getting you out of the way.
The restaurant had good food but felt a step up from a school canteen. No bar area as such all set up for eating. If you wanted to sit outside there could have been some plants in pots etc but you felt you were sitting on the pavement. The waitin staff in the restaurant were very nice but rushed of there feet.
Disappointed and feel with an extra effort and thought it could be better.

Best Crab ever at ROCKY BOTTOM.
Best Crab ever at ROCKY BOTTOM. Favourite place was Mundesley. Easy to get around Cromer if you don,t have a walking disability. Beach approach was too long/steep,but local people were extra helpfull with their advice.Nothing to avoid next visit,i just need to get more mobile, still hoping at 85!!
We stayed in Room 3 and the room was beautifully presented, very comfortable with everything we needed and there were plenty of teabags, coffee, sugar, milk etc and even a Nespresso machine! So often hotels give you a meagre supply but not at the Welly :-) Also residents get 10% discount at Breakers cafe just across the road which is great for breakfast. The Wellington has a good bar with atmosphere, which was where most of the life in Cromer was when we were there, but it didn't keep us awake because the bar closes at 11. Perfect!
It is a beautiful hotel. Fantastic history and architecture.
We had a side room over looking cromer pier and the church. Amazing view.
The room was small. But had a large double bed.
Staff were amazing. Very friendly.
Had a drink in the bar in the evening which was nice and then at the last minute opted for breakfast which was £12 each and excellent value. As could choose what we wanted off the menu.
We had to park in the main pay and display opposite the hotel.
Overall a really nice stay. Would visit again.
I am almost tempted not to give a review because then everyone will rush there and I may never be able to find a slot for myself! But I can’t be selfish and so can only say that there is nothing not to like about Albury House, Cromer. From the warm welcome of its delightful hostess, the charming and spotless rooms, the incredible and delicious breakfasts to it’s perfect location - this is a wonderful place to relax and explore all the beauty of the Norfolk coast. I love it!
Lovely relaxing hotel, friendly staff and owner, was made to feel welcome from the start. They gave us an upgrade when booking in and it was a fantastic room at the top of the hotel, with an outside patio, the views were amazing!
There is also a seating area outside, which is very comfortable with views out to sea. We also found the food to be good, all in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Dormy Hotel and if we visit Cromer again we would definitely stay there again.
Just stayed for one night, but what a wonderful gem of a place. Was very impressed with my room (the herbal and biscuits are superior to some corporate hotels). Swimming pool was lovely (could just do with some new pool noodles for the children). In the evening we had a quick drink in the bar which is small but lovely with relaxing music on. I will stay again when I am in Cromer and ensure I sample the breakfast.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Barns which is ideally located to explore North Norfolk, several National Trust sites in close proximity as are coastal towns of Cromer and Sheringham with Great Yarmouth only an hours drive away.
The owners of The Barns made us very welcome and willing to have a chat with us at breakfast, there were plenty of choices for breakfast which were perfectly cooked and served.
It was a beautiful old building overlooking the sea with lovely friendly staff. Rooms were clean and warm and beds were comfy. Easy access to beach and Cromer itself. hotel/restaurant next doors was lovely to eat in.
The breakfast was lovely and nice relaxed service.
Kid and dog friendly.
Had a free complimentary room upgrade upon checking-in, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was a spacious double with a great walk-in shower in the bathroom. Had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good and seemed decent value for money.
Great location - easy walk to everything in Cromer. Plenty of room for us as a family. Lots or extra bits left by the hosts to make the stay better. Cromer is very nice - and good base to get around various areas in Norfolk.
Location is super, ideal base for touring Norfolk. The mirrors, which are a main part of the wall decorations, are really beautiful. This hotel could be fantastic, but no one seems to care.
it was perfect so clean lots of little extras so. near to the centre of cromer two minutes to shops restaurant pubs buses and trains Annie was so welcoming and checked we were ok through out the week
They had a plumbing issue so we were unable to stay at the property. We understand that these things cant be helped but the catalogue of disasters from the lettings company was awful
Outstanding host couldn't have been more helpful in beautiful surroundings,, serving exceptional breakfast, looking forward to another opportunity to stay there,.😌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The dining room was very nice. The hotel was well situated within walking distance into Cromer and to the Pier.
Everything was ideal for our needs. Perfect for the dog with a secure garden.
Lovely dog friendly pub opposite.
Peaceful village that's near coastal attractions.
