It’s an amazing place.
It’s an amazing place. People are nice and we interacted with both local men and women.Althoughmost tourist places have local men who constantly stare at women and being a family visiting the place, it’s kinda makes women uncomfortable, as women can’t walk alone without having some locals coming after. Also please take taxi stand and insist on receipts and also from hotels too.

Srinagar is best in the summer. We visited end of November and the weather was damp and foggy, not favorable. People are pushy and are very much after tipping or money. In this regards, quality of service is missing. 2 days is enough for Srinagar.

You would be lucky to try Kashmiri home made cuisine food by Ibrahim. The property all facilities the facilities for a perfect stay in winters as you would be provided with hot water bags and heater in room. not to forget the welcome kawa drink and noon chai. The owner also guided and booked us the cheapest shikara ride which was very helpful.
