We enjoyed this town so much. It was beautiful and quiet. The food and wine was amazing everywhere we ate. We picked the location due to the many walks in all directions. Perfect for walking or biking. Hope to return.

Lovely quaint town and not too touristy.
Lovely quaint town and not too touristy. A good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to Pienza and Montepulciano. Town has a small park that is nice to walk around. There are also free parking lots which makes parking very easy.

This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there.
This was my second visit, as my son’s family live there. It’s a charming small town in a gorgeous setting. Each June, they celebrate the Festival of Barbarossa and dramatize historic events from the 12th century. The four quarters of the town each have their own flags, songs, competition teams, etc. and the spirits are high!! Great fun!

The historic city of San Quirico d'Orcia is one of several beautiful Tuscan cities located around the Valle d'Orcia.
It has a very historic centre.
As an old city there are many modern amenities for tourism: restaurants, historical buildings, museums, churches, bars, and shops.
A very charming place to base yourself in Tuscany for the Valle d'Orcia: very relaxing and peaceful.

San Quirico d'Orcia is a gorgeous village in the middle of the Val d'Orcia. Not only the place is fascinating, but its surroundings will make your jaw drop. It is also strategically located and well connected to other fantastic small towns and villages, which make it the perfect location for a road trip.

Elisa is a super host. Breakfast was great!
Elisa is a super host. Breakfast was great! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, hot croissants, eggs, cheeses, prosciutto, much more than a continental breakfast!
The rooms are wonderful! Bed, shower, bedding!
She also cooked us dinner one night and it was the best dinner in the region.
We will be back!

The hosts, who rent out part of their house as this hotel, are affable and helpful. There is no reception desk. The location in San Quirico d'Orcia is wonderful, both because it is walkable to the old town, and because it is walkable to some lovely trails that connect San Quirico to Bagno Vignoni. The breakfast is pretty good, and includes some fruit, hard-boiled eggs ,and a pastry or two. A coffee machine in the breakfast area produces acceptable cappucinos and other coffees. The hosts explain the procedure clearly upon arrival.
Everything!
The location is perfect, seconds from the restaurants and bars but still peaceful. Gorgeous views from the windows.
The apartment is beautiful, clean, smells amazing. It is well equipped with everything you could need and is light and airy.
It was also nice to actually be met by the host rather than using a keystore. Gemma was able to give us some great advice as to places to visit.
Next time we are in Italy we will certainly return to Dimora del Poggio.
The hotel is close to the historical city center. Just a few metres further you can start beautful walk with some stunning views. The staff is so friendly. And what a fantastic breakfast! Unbelievable. You just sit and they bring the most delicious food and cappucino. And when i left they gave me water and croissant for the next trip. So friendly. If you plan to visit san quirziio d orcia i strongly recommand this place
We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were exceptional, as were the hotel rooms. The décor was extremely well done and the size of the room was quite large compared to most hotels in Italy. High end amenities as well. We LOVED the claw foot tub inside the room, was a great touch. It's also located near the most quaint town, where we had the best meal of our trip! We did not want to leave!
My family & I traveled to Italy & stayed at this quaint, beautiful town this past summer. The owners of this apartment were lovely. They met us at our car upon arrival & even assisted in bringing in our luggage. We enjoyed an amazing meal at a local restaurant which the owners recommended. Overall, we had a great time! The place was perfect for our 1 night stay in town.
We were walking the Via Francigena, and it was a long walk through town to find the hotel. But once we arrived, we were delighted with the beauty of the place and the warmth of our host. She made us tea and piled a plate high with cookies to restore us, and the next morning she served an unforgettable breakfast. Highly recommend!
The hotel has an amazing view, and is new and tastefully built and decorated. The staff was more then friendly, they made everything easy and facilitated for us an e-bike tour with an amazing guide (in English) for a very good price. It was the highlight of our stay ! They also gave us very good restaurants recommendations.
The spa was great, the external pool is so beautiful, the internal pool was also comfortable. The staff was kind and they allow us to stay after the checkout at the external pool, location is great and the free parking is in front of the hotel, the restaurant was good although the service was a bit slow
Lived the location, the bathroom & shower was huge, unusual for Italy. A nice little balcony for afternoon drinks, it was small, but we made it work, a little coffee table would be nice, friendly people, allowed us to drop our luggage off early.
The location is perfect, in the middle of the atuscan hills with a few hiking pathways easily accessible from the hotel. The pool is great! The food is very good and there is an amazing view from the restaurant terrace.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and very tolerant of my poor Italian language skills. They let me leave my bag at the hotel before I checked in, which was really appreciated. Check-in went very smoothly.
Amazing hotel with all the amenities and great staff and restaurant. They have a lovely private cooking class, and full spa with steam room, sauna, and massage treatments. very comfortable beds as well.
Have stayed here before. The previous stay the room was in another building which was more quaint and spacious and had a rooftop patio. The main hotel the room was small and expensive for the size.
The best hotel in my 12 days Italy trip. Big kitchen and living room with eveything you need. The host is very nice and super hospitality. Highly recommend!
