We liked the surrounding views most, mount Etna on one side, Nebrodi mountains on the other side. Breathtaking views for sure. This is also a good location to stay at to explore surrounding locations and return to. For example Gole dell' Alcantara is not far away about half an hour drive, and also a skiing resort on Etna is reachable by car in a two hour drive. Beautiful views along the way so it makes drive interesting. It's also fifteen minutes away from Randazzo if one needs to go shopping for groceries etc. Restaurants available in short drives as well.
