It is a picturesque town and has a good mixture of shops and eateries. Very easy to walk around and central location to visit the beaches and the north coast. It is expensive but the restaurant food, if you choose carefully, is excellent.

San Pantaleo is a charming litlle vilage, and they have market every Thursday. Lot of clothing, art, food, all. We went there , we parked almost 2km away, and we got a ticket for parking 61e.
So you must visit, but go early to find parking.
Check twice before you go on.

San Pantaleo was great as it is based in a historic part of Sardegna full of mountain views wherever you look. It is 20-25 minutes from the airport, so you will need a car, but most places in Italy will require car hire, unless you are staying in one place only. San Pantaleo for us was great as we enjoyed exploring the beautiful seaside during the day and relaxing in San Pantaleo for the late afternoon and evening with well served restaurants, full of character buildings, friendly people around and lovely locals. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely picturesque village in a mountainous region close to Costa Smeralda. The village has lovely restaurants and cafes and a grocery store. The people are warm and friendly and you are within a short driving distance from the many stunning beaches in the area.

Small, bory village, with small village shop and very expensive restaurants.
Rocce Sarde is really wonderful hotel but you need to come by own car or hired one.
The nearest beach, Rena Bianca is wonderful one but 8 km from San Pantaleo and if you do not have the car or no shutl bus, you'll have the problem. Hotel Rocce Sarde has a good shutl service.

Lovely, natural village that caters for tourists without it being too obvious. Very well placed for the Costa Smeralda and within easy reach of Olbia. The nearest beach is excellent and well served by Pedro’s Cafe.
Great location and very nice apartment on the grounds floor of the house. Spacious, clean and quiet flat. Nice location for visiting the region and beaches within 15min by car. Terrace with a magnificent view of the Sardinian mountains. Very nice for eating or just laying on the deckchair in the sun. Also full of documents on Sardinia available.
Host is very nice and welcoming person.
5min walking from village center of San Pantaleo with little craft stores and bars to have nice drink the evening or a gelato.
We do recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Antico! Cozy and nicely decorated little hotel well connected to reach several beaches in Costa Smeralda. But what makes this place home is the staff we had the pleasure to meet from the girls Mariana and Tiziana, to Massimo and Marco and and Mauro, the soul of this place. Grazie ragazzi!
We felt so good that we added a night!
Certain things are working in progress and hopefully they will get better next here!!
We hope to see you soon!! Alice e Attilio
The house is super comfortable, well ventilated and bright, it has everything a home needs, the landscape of the master bedroom and kitchen is worth it. The place is super quiet. It is close to the centre of San Pantaleo, literally less than 5 minutes walking, where you will find several cafes, restaurants and shops, as well as close to most beaches on the Costa Smeralda by car in about 15 to 20 minutes. The owner is very kind and helpful. I recommend!
The property is beautifully located with a stunning view of the rock formation at San Pantaleo. The design of the entire property is just gorgeous and so thoughtfully done. Gladys and her husband poured their hearts into creating this place and it shows. They thought of everything a guest could possibly need or ask for. You will not be missing anything and enjoy your stay tremendously.
We loved Hotel Arathena! it was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful property and view. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The staff were incredibly kind and always at your service with smiles. The location is the best. The town of San Pantelo has a fun night life and is absolutely beautiful. It is a short drive to the porto Cervo and the beaches.
The location is perfect, close to several beautiful beaches, reachable by car within minutes. Also the nearby San Pantaleo village is wonderful.
The owners are very nice, giving us all the information we need. The view from the villa is amazing, we enjoyed the terrace and the garden with sea view, the peace and quite we found there. It is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
the rooms are very big and the beds are really comfortable. the shower is also huge and we had a stand-alone bath which I loved. the hotel is small and has only 5 rooms which are separately located. the grounds are stunning including amazing country views and cosy areas to chill in by the lake. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had and menu changes each day.
View was Fantastic,Breakfeast let the place down with choice and a charge/supplement for Ham and cheese toast and omelettes
Taken into account the grand scheme of things, they should of charged you 50 euro more when booking hotel to cover this off,its mean/annoying/ just does not fit the style of Relais and Chateaux.
Cozy, modern little apartment in the lovely village of San Pantaleo. It is a great location for visiting Costa Smeralda, Isola della Maddalena and the surrounding areas. Communication with the host was very efficient, she responded and resolved our request quickly.
I have visited many luxury hotels and this is definitely on my top five 🤩 Beautiful rooms and buildings, wonderful staff, exquisite food and wine, amazing location. Everything was fantastic and I will definitely return!
The place is amazing, the energy from there is fantastic, in 10 minutes you can arrive in all of the most important places from Sardinia and the owner Laura is a great person who help you with everythink you need❤️
