Castelfidardo is a lovely old town situated on a hill top.
Castelfidardo is a lovely old town situated on a hill top. Porta Marina in the centre has a lovely small garden with seating which provides amazing views over the countryside and surrounding towns all the way to the sea. The old historic centre whilst small is lovely. The national monument is amazing and worth visiting with an outstanding bronze depicting the heroic battle for the unification of italy at the centre, surrounded by thousands of aromatic pine trees with little pathways where it is easy to relax and soak up the atmosphere....absolutely beautiful.

Charming town, little Italian burg up in the hill with beautiful view. Nightlife, good pizzerias in a great atmosphere. If you would like to stay overnight I highly recommend 'Il Covo dei Piccioni' as a Bed&Breakfast.

The breakfast was very good - sweet, sour, milk products, coffee, tea, juices, fruits and so on,... The flat is directly in the heart of Castelfidardo. There was always enough space for parking our car near the flat. We got a lot of tips for local restaurants and places to stay. Massimiliano, his wife and Gabriella are such nice people. If we would come bsck to Castelfidardo, we would stay here again. Grazie per il tempo meraviglioso!

Despite extremely hot weather, aircondition is efficient and will cool the room quickly (as it is centrally controlled with limited adjustment in the room, make sure you ask the reception to set it to 23 degrees when checking in so that you can yourself set it the as you wish within the reange of about 21-25). Very good breakfast is a plus!

The first floor has a bar and a restaurant and the food is very good. The bathroom was enormous, and the shower was very comfortable. It was conveniently located and easy to get in and out of Castelfidardo. I would stay there again, hopefully in a renovated hotel, when I return to Castelfidardo.

The park in front of the hotel is nice to walk your dog and also has a really nice playground for kids. It was also easy to find local food very nearby and you can park your car in front of the entrance of the hotel. Very convenient.
